Basketball Game Preview: Brown City Green Devils vs. Harbor Beach Pirates

The Brown City Green Devils will challenge the Harbor Beach Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brown City comes in on three and Harbor Beach on 16.

Brown City took a 27-point loss the last time they faced off against Sandusky, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Brown City sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 victory over Sandusky on Friday.

Meanwhile, Harbor Beach was able to grind out a solid win over Laker on Friday, taking the game 61-52. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Lakers are ranked 242nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Harbor Beach pushed their record up to 22-1 with the victory, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brown City, their win bumped their record up to 14-11.

Brown City was dealt a bruising 70-39 defeat at the hands of Harbor Beach when the teams last played back in January. Can Brown City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
