The Ludlowe Falcons will head out to face off against the Trumbull Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ludlowe is coming into the match hot, having won their last 12 games.

On Friday, Ludlowe got the win against Wilton by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Trumbull faced New Canaan in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trumbull wouldn't go down easily and took New Canaan into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 15-9.

Ludlowe's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Trumbull, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.
