Volleyball Recap: Weir Takes a Loss

Weir was the 2-0 winner over Spring Mills when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Riders fell 2-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16.

Gabby Sprouse paced Weir's offense, picking up five kills. Sprouse got some help from Amalia Kirlangitis and her seven assists. Sprouse was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Weir now has a losing record of 0-1-1. As for Spring Mills, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Weir didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Herbert Hoover on the 23rd. As for Spring Mills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd.
