Soccer Game Preview: Glendale Prep Academy vs. Horizon Honors

Glendale Prep Academy's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Anthem Prep with a sharp 4-0 win. The Griffins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by four goals or more this season.

They hit Anthem Prep with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kaden Holtrup (2), Andrew Beba, and Luis Isal.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles last Wednesday. Horizon Honors walked away with a 2-0 victory over Anthem Prep. The win made it back-to-back victories for Horizon Honors.

Glendale Prep Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those nine games. As for Horizon Honors, their win bumped their record up to 6-4-2.
