Basketball Recap: Pine City Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Pine City got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They took down the Rush City Tigers 78-64 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Tigers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 48-43 loss.

Pine City's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12. As for Rush City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine City will venture away from home to square off against Aitkin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rush City, they will face off against Spectrum at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Spectrum's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
