Basketball Game Preview: Larned Indians vs. St. John Tigers

Larned hasn't had much luck against St. John recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Larned Indians will be home for the holidays to greet the St. John Tigers. Larned will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Larned will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Hoisington, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Larned came out on top against Hoisington by a score of 55-46 on Friday.

Meanwhile, St. John suffered their closest loss since December 8, 2023 on Monday. They fell just short of Bucklin by a score of 43-40.

Larned's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0. As for St. John, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Things could have been worse for Larned, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-37 loss to St. John in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Larned avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
