After a string of eight wins dating back to last season, Linsly's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They were beaten by the Morgantown Mohigans 88-48. The Cadets lost against the Mohigans in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 63-57 score last time.

Linsly's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Linsly and Spring Mills will compete for holiday cheer at 3:15 p.m. on December 21st. As for Morgantown, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Brooke at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgantown is coming into the game hot, having won their last 21 games dating back to last season.
