Jefferson Area is 8-2 against Conneaut since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Falcons will venture away from home to take on the Spartans at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses dating back to last season for Jefferson Area and nine for Conneaut dating back to last season.

Last Friday, Jefferson Area didn't have quite enough to beat Girard and fell 3-1.

Michael Riffle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Conneaut came up short against Bristol on Thursday, falling 14-3.

Conneaut saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keigan Spring, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Jefferson Area's record now sits at 0-3. As for Conneaut, their record is now an identical 0-3.

Jefferson Area beat Conneaut 9-6 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Do the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
