After flying high against Trinity Christian Academy on Monday, Jackson Christian came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Northpoint Christian Trojans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Jackson Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 21-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-10.

Leading Northpoint Christian to victory were Skylar Morris and Valerie Hurdle. Morris had 22 digs and one assist, while Hurdle had ten digs. That's the most digs Morris has posted over her last ten matches. Avery Beth Freeze also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Jackson Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Northpoint Christian, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.
