Basketball Recap: Portland Adventist Academy Takes a Loss

Portland Adventist Academy lost against Valley Catholic back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Portland Adventist Academy Cougars had to suffer through a 56-25 loss at the hands of the Valley Catholic Valiants. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while the Valiants are ranked 91st).

Portland Adventist Academy dropped their record down to 7-19 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Valley Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Portland Adventist Academy is taking a road trip to take on De La Salle North Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Valley Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
