Baseball Recap: Conant Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Conant waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They put the hurt on the Fall Mountain Wildcats with a sharp 12-3 victory. Considering the Orioles have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Conant's win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Fall Mountain, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Conant will venture away from home to face off against Mascenic Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fall Mountain, they will head out to square off against Monadnock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
