Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pungo Christian Academy). They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Ridgecroft Rams on Tuesday. With Pungo Christian Academy ahead 6-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

They hit Ridgecroft with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lexy Tate (3), Emily Copes (2), Ashleigh Wallace, and AvaHaiyes Cox.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Pungo Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 6-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. As for Ridgecroft, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Pungo Christian Academy will face off against Lawrence Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Pungo Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Ridgecroft does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
