Recap: DSST: College View Wolves vs. STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans
The DSST: College View Wolves came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past STEM School Highlands Ranch 68-30 at home. DSST: College View has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 20 points or more this season.
Leading DSST: College View to victory were Josue Tomita and Isaias Tomita. Tomita scored 19 points, while Tomita dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 assists. That's the first time this season that Tomita posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Joshua Sosa, who scored seven points along with three steals.
DSST: College View is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for STEM School Highlands Ranch, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 7-5.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing William Smith the next time they take the court. DSST: College View will head out to face William Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while STEM School Highlands Ranch will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
