Softball Recap: Dixie Heights Takes a Loss

Dixie Heights lost against Cooper back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colonels lost 13-1 to the Jaguars. The Colonels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dixie Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Callie Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. 14 Sydney Schumacher was another, going 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Dixie Heights' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Cooper, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-16.

Looking ahead, Dixie Heights will head out on the road to face off against Walton-Verona at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cooper, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Boone County at 5:00 p.m.
