Newton won the last time they faced Eisenhower and things went their way on Thursday too. The Railroaders put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 5-2 win. Considering Newton have won five matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Newton and bumps their season record up to 10-1. It's not like the team was facing easy opposition over that stretch either, as it included 6-3 Andover (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.6% over those games). As for Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4-2 record this season.
