Basketball Game Preview: Milan Indians vs. Oldenburg Academy Twisters

Milan hasn't had much luck against Oldenburg Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Milan Indians will challenge the Oldenburg Academy Twisters at 6:00 p.m. Milan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Milan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They took down Crothersville 45-26. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Oldenburg Academy entered their tilt with Rising Sun on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over the Shiners. Given the Twisters' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Shiners are ranked 351st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oldenburg Academy's win bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Milan, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-17.

Milan was dealt a bruising 66-30 defeat at the hands of Oldenburg Academy in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Can Milan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
