Volleyball Recap: San Leandro Takes a Loss

After flying high against San Lorenzo on Friday, San Leandro came back down to earth. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Terra Linda Trojans on Saturday.

San Leandro's offense was headlined by Skyla Martin and Alexandra Santos, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Jayden Aranzamendez and her eight assists.

San Leandro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Terra Linda, their victory bumped their record up to 17-9.

Coincidentally, San Leandro and Terra Linda will both be playing Washington the next time they take the court. The Pirates will head out to face the Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Trojans will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
