South Davidson is a perfect 7-0 against Thomasville since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. South Davidson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

South Davidson fell victim to West Davidson and their airtight defense last Thursday. They came up short against the Dragons, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, South Davidson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 427th, while West Davidson are ranked 66th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Thomasville was a bit more limited in their contest last Monday. They lost 9-0 to West Davidson.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for South Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2.

South Davidson came out on top in a nail-biter against Thomasville when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 4-3. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
