Soccer Recap: East Columbus Takes a Loss

East Columbus lost against Pender last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The East Columbus Gators fell just short of the Pender Patriots by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Gators have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for East Columbus and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Pender, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Columbus will face off against East Bladen at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be East Bladen's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Pender, they will challenge South Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will also give South Columbus their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
