Volleyball Recap: Olathe South Takes a Loss

Olathe South lost against Mill Valley last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Jaguars. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-17.

Emani Clifton paced Olathe South's offense, picking up eight kills. Clifton got some help from Kinley Legleiter and her 13 assists. Legleiter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Olathe South's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Mill Valley, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Olathe South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Lawrence on the 25th. As for Mill Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Olathe North on the 25th.
