Softball Recap: Amite County Comes Up Short

Amite County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Tylertown Chiefs, falling 19-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chiefs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-3 back in March.

Amite County's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Tylertown, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Amite County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-0 defeat against Sacred Heart on the 18th. As for Tylertown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-0 victory against Our Lady Academy on the 16th.
