Miramonte is 9-1 against Alhambra since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Miramonte Matadors will take on the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Miramonte will be strutting in after a victory while Alhambra will be coming in after a defeat.

Miramonte's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Berean Christian with a sharp 3-0 win. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Matadors were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Alhambra was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to Ygnacio Valley. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bulldogs it sure didn't stay that way.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Miramonte, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-6.

Miramonte beat Alhambra by a goal in their previous meeting back in January, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Miramonte since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
