On Monday Silbi Jones tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and ten unearned) runs off five hits. The performance marked the fewest earned runs Jones has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the season, she has an ERA of 10.80 over 11.7 innings pitched.

Jones and Garrett Memorial Christian will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trinity Christian at 3:30 p.m. on March 31st.
