Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ridgeview waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Highland Scots by a score of 9-4. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-5 win on Wednesday.

Ridgeview got a big performance out of Ayden Vasquez, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ethan Mendoza, who went 2-for-5 with two runs and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ridgeview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April.

Ridgeview's record is now 21-8. As for Highland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-17.

As of now, neither Ridgeview nor the Scots have any future games scheduled.
