Softball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils vs. Mountain Brook Spartans
While Mortimer Jordan's victory against Mountain Brook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Spartans on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Devils, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grace Turner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
