Volleyball Recap: Athens Drive Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Athens Drive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Leesville Road Pride, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pride this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-16.

Athens Drive's offense was headlined by Izzy Martin and Mason Fernandez, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Rowan Bissett and her 11 assists. Finally, she was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Leesville Road had a senior duo take command as Isabelle Barna had 20 digs and three assists and Hayden Perry had 14 digs. Barna is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Athens Drive's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Leesville Road, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-4.

As of now, neither Athens Drive nor the Pride have any future games scheduled.
