Carson Koen posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Koen and James Monroe will head out on the road to challenge WestSide at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
