Softball Game Preview: Bland Tigers vs. Cooper Bulldogs

Bland is 2-7 against Cooper since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bland Tigers will look to defend their home field against the Cooper Bulldogs at 11:00 a.m.

Bland is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Cooper by a score of 13-8 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

For Cooper's part, Laney Trapp led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI. Shyanne Smith was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Bland's win bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Cooper, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
