Recap: Vineland Fighting Clan vs. Wildwood Warriors
The Vineland Fighting Clan's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight defeat. They took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wildwood.
It was another big night for Junior Hans, who scored 18 points along with three steals for Wildwood. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Fusik, who scored 11 points.
Vineland has not been sharp recently as the team has lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for Wildwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.
Vineland is on the road again on Thursday and plays Hammonton at 5:30 p.m. on February 15th. Hammonton will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Vineland surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wildwood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-42 loss vs. Ocean City on the 10th.
