Baseball Recap: Pickerington Central Comes Up Short

Pickerington Central lost to Teays Valley back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-2.

Cael Kogge was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That hit was his first of the season.

Pickerington Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10-1. As for Teays Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Pickerington Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Reynoldsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Teays Valley, they will head out on the road to face off against Circleville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
