Soccer Recap: Somerset Takes a Loss

Somerset came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-1 to the Bedford Bisons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Somerset of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Christopher Thompson, who's now up to three this season.

Somerset's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Bedford, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

Somerset didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Central Cambria on the 8th. As for Bedford, they have also already played their next matchup, a 9-0 victory against Chestnut Ridge on the 8th.
