Volleyball Recap: Ten Straight Home Wins for Sierra Vista

Sierra Vista entered their tilt with Cheyenne on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Desert Shields 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Mountain Lions have posted against the Desert Shields since April 4, 2024.

Sierra Vista walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-21.

Regi Beshiri paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up 14 kills. Beshiri got some help from Jeremiah James and his 17 assists. Beshiri also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Ben La, racking up four apiece.

Sierra Vista pushed their record up to 18-13 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cheyenne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-24.
