Football Recap: San Diego Cavers vs. La Jolla Vikings
After flying high against St. Augustine last Friday, San Diego came back down to earth. The Cavers fell just short of the La Jolla Vikings by a score of 36-33 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (31), the Cavers still had to take the loss.

Several Cavers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayden Harris, who threw for 254 yards and three TDs. San Diego also got a significant boost from Jayden Johnson, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 112 yards.
La Jolla found their leader in sophomore Aiden Farrell, who rushed for 202 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Farrell has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise. Nicolas Bardaro was another key player, gaining 103 total yards.
