Softball Game Preview: Williston-Elko Blue Devils vs. Calhoun County Saints

For the second straight game, Williston-Elko will face off against Calhoun County. The Blue Devils will challenge the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Williston-Elko has six straight victories, Calhoun County has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Williston-Elko is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Calhoun County 18-3 on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Williston-Elko's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 15.0 runs this season. As for Calhoun County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
