Basketball Recap: Macon County Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Macon County had won six straight games and Morgan Cochran did her part to make it seven on Wednesday. The Macon County Bulldogs walked away with a 43-33 win over the Schley County Wildcats thanks in part to Cochran, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. Cochran is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Macon County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.6 points per game. As for Schley County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.
