Softball Recap: Evergreen Vikings vs. Archbold Blue Streaks
Evergreen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Archbold Blue Streaks by a score of 4-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Evergreen of the 16-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Macy Chamberlin was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with an RBI.

As for Archbold, they will head out on the road to face off against Elmwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Archbold's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Elmwood's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
