Soccer Recap: Crestwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Waterloo on Monday, Crestwood came back down to earth. The Red Devils took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Streetsboro Rockets on Thursday. Crestwood have struggled against Streetsboro recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Crestwood hit Streetsboro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Henry Sommer, Evan Goodell, and Dakota Powers.

Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Streetsboro, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Crestwood will face off against Garfield at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Streetsboro, they will be playing at home against Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
