Volleyball Recap: Laughlin Comes Up Short

Laughlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Liberty Baptist Academy Knights, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Liberty Baptist Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-19.

Laughlin's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 17-13.

Laughlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Liberty Baptist Academy, they will take on Pahranagat Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
