Basketball Recap: Tri-State Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Tri-State Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ASPIRA Charter Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 244th in Maryland, while the Wolves are ranked 53rd in Delaware).

Despite the loss, Tri-State Christian still got an impressive performance from Josiah Tucker, who posted eight points.

Tri-State Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-8. As for ASPIRA Charter, with the victory, they broke their 11-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-State Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Aquinas Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for ASPIRA Charter, they will take on Bohemia Manor at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
