There's no place like home for Monacan, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Huguenot Falcons a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. The two-point effort marked the Chiefs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Monacan has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points over those games. As for Huguenot, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.

Coming up, Monacan will head out on the road to face off against L.C. Bird at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. L.C. Bird has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Huguenot, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cosby at 7:30 p.m.
