South Whidbey took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 6-1 margin over the Granite Falls Tigers. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

This is the second loss in a row for Granite Falls and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Whidbey will challenge Chimacum at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Granite Falls, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Annie Wright at 5:00 p.m.
