Baseball Recap: Wise Takes a Loss

Wise and DuVal squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Wise had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Tigers. The Pumas haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Elijah Reed made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Wise is 2-1 when Reed posts two or more runs, but 5-13 otherwise. Kian Lee was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.

Wise's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for DuVal, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.

As of now, neither Wise nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
