Softball Recap: Miyamura Has No Trouble Against Navajo Prep

Miyamura never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Navajo Prep Eagles as the Miyamura Patriots made off with a 10-0 victory. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Shelby Haskie was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Iris Day-Chief, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Miyamura was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Navajo Prep only posted a batting average of .235.

Miyamura's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Miyamura will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Roswell at 3:30 p.m. on March 14th. Navajo Prep also won't see the field for a while: their next matchup is against Espanola Valley at 12:00 p.m. on March 21st.
