Lane Tech is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Fishers. The Champions fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Champions' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lane Tech's loss dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Fishers, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Coming up, Lane Tech will take on Taft at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fishers, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Belleville East on the 3rd.
