Volleyball Recap: Highland Home Comes Up Short

If Highland Home was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flying Squadron lost 3-0 to the Brantley Bulldogs on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 9th.

Highland Home's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Brantley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Highland Home will be playing at home against Calhoun at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brantley, they will head out to face off against Elba at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
