Basketball Recap: Little Elm Comes Up Short

Little Elm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost to the Braswell Bengals on the road by a 67-51 margin. The Lobos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bengals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.

Despite the loss, Little Elm still got an impressive performance from Shiloh Kimpson, who went 9 for 21 on her way to 32 points. That was a full 62.7% of Little Elm's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Little Elm's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Braswell, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Little Elm didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-49 loss against Flower Mound on the 13th. Braswell has also already played their next match, a 54-26 victory against Lewisville on the 13th.
