Volleyball Recap: Kingdom Christian Comes Up Short

Kingdom Christian lost against Calvary Christian back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions fell 3-1 to the Spartans.

The final score came out to 25-17, 19-25, 25-13, 25-10.

Evie Oglesby paced Kingdom Christian's offense, picking up 11 kills. Oglesby got some help from Olivia Helstad and her nine assists. Oglesby was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Kingdom Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Calvary Christian, their win ended a seven-match drought at home and bumped them up to 3-19.

Looking ahead, Kingdom Christian will head out on the road to face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Calvary Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Russia will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
