Volleyball Recap: Gateway Picks Up Third Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Gateway entered their tilt with St. Cloud on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Gateway took St. Cloud into a fifth set where they got it done with a seven-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, 20-25, 15-8.

When it comes to explaining why St. Cloud lost, don't look at Isabella Rodriguez. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and one assist. With that strong performance, Rodriguez is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Leah Arias also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Gateway's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for St. Cloud, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, Gateway will head out on the road to take on Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Cloud does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
