Basketball Recap: Livingston Takes a Loss

Livingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 72-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lathrop Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Wolves have lost by exactly 13 points.

Lathrop found their leader in freshman Nicolas Arceo, who went 5 for 8 to rack up 14 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. That's the most boards Arceo has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Joseph Perkins, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points.

Livingston's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.

Livingston has already played their next match, a 72-70 victory against Orestimba on the 8th. As for Lathrop, they will be playing at home against Central Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season.
