Football Recap: Northport Tigers vs. North Babylon Bulldogs

Northport and North Babylon squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Northport had to settle for second. They fell 27-20 to the North Babylon Bulldogs. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October.

Enrique Hernandez rushed for 24 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 103 yards on only eight passes. Christian Campoli was his top target, picking up 41 receiving yards. On the ground, Asher Levine rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns.

Northport's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for North Babylon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-4.
